The Duchess of Cambridge's Olympic Success:

The past few weeks have been another fashion triumph for the Duchess of Cambridge, as we have seen her parading around the Olympic Arena in an array of gorgeous outfits. Channel Kate's sophisticated off duty look with this feminine Moschino blouse and add a bit of colour with these amazing Christopher Kane skinnys! Throughout the games, Kate's footwear caused quite a stir when Rebecca Adlington commented on her Stuart Weitzman 'Corkswoon' wedges, paired here with a matching Alexander McQueen blazer and of course Kate's favourite Givenchy sunnies. This relaxed look can take you from a day at the office to a causal lunch, and even a girl’s night out with a glamorous pair of Christian Louboutin heels. So channel your inner fashion princess to re-create Kate's latest fashion moment.

Calling All Alexa Chung Fans:

Hold your breath ladies, yes it's true, everybody's favourite style icon, world renowned fashionista Alexa Chung is indeed creating her very own fashion line! The exciting news was announced to Tokyo Fashion magazine Numéro by the it girl herself in their latest October Issue.

Previously Miss Chung has had immense success in fashion design when she collaborated with American Retail Store Madewell in 2010 and 11, earning her rave reviews the line virtually sold out over night, hence proving that Chung's new line will undoubtedly be a huge success.

It was not a shock that Chung is using her 'it' girl persona to cash in on this new line telling the mag that "I’ve got nothing to lose, it’s a bit of fun. In this current era of celebrity no one believes you actually design the stuff anyway, even though I sketch everything myself. So if it sucks I can say I had nothing to do with it, and if it’s really good I can say ‘Here are the drawings, it’s all my own work’!”

However, it's fair to say that the quirky line will be an instant sell out with her signature jumpers, peter pan collar dresses and fashionable 'rubbish bin' coats as Chung herself described one of her favourite pieces in her last Madewell line.

I for one cannot wait to get my hands on Chung's latest designs, but if you just cant wait here is a bit of Chung style inspiration to keep you going.

Happy thrifting!
