There is no doubt about it, the fashion at this year's Golden Globes defiantly did not disappoint. Hollywood's leading ladies in television and film pulled out all the stops to make this a very fashionable red carpet.
Shimmering metallics ruled the red carpet with Golden Globe Winner Julianne Moore stunning in a custom silver, sequin and feather gown by Givenchy. 50 Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnston wowed in a silver embellished Chanel, as did Reese Witherspoon in Calvin Klein and Diane Kruger in Emilia Wickstead.
Pops of colour stood out on the carpet, with Naomi Watts leading the way in a gorgeous canary yellow Gucci gown and a diamond snake choker by Bulgari. Leslie Mann dazzled in a strapless yellow gown and Lupita Nyong'o continued her winning streak in a vibrant lilac dress by Giambattista Valli as did Amy Adams in lavender Versace.
All eyes were on Amal Clooney throughout the night who channelled old Hollywood glamour in a black Dior Haute Couture gown and white gloves. Clooney made a political statement with her clutch donning a 'Je suis Charlie' badge, showing her support after the paris terrorist attacks.
Sienna Miller looked dreamy in a bohemian white Miu Miu gown with gold embellishments, Anna Kendrick channelled her inner princess in a tulle and rose embellished Monique Lhuillier and Salma Hayek looked heavenly in a cream Alexander McQueen gown.
Girls star Allison Williams stunned in a dramatic beaded Armani Prive gown, whilst her co-star Lena Dunham chose a shorter red dress by Zac Posen.
