Hollywood's golden couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have announced they have split!
In a post on Paltrow's website goop, the couple released a statement saying "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate".
"We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner".
News of the split will no doubt send shock waves among Hollywood, as one of the world's most famous couples split. However, with Paltrow and Martin currently on holiday with their children in the Bahamas, one things for sure, this is going to be one of the most amicable splits in the history of Hollywood!
