Hailwood - NZFW 2013:

Below is my review on Hailwood's Winter 2014 collection, for NZ blog Mac & Mae - to read the full article on the site click here:

No one does chic street wear and high glamour quite like Adrian Hailwood. For his Winter 2014 collection, Hailwood channelled the late 1960’s and 1970’s. As the first model sashed down the runway with big flowing curls, in a stylish maroon cape, it was clear to see that this was going to be a triumphant collection.
Luxurious coats and draped dresses dominated the catwalk this season, with Hailwood’s signature draping being a standout feature in collection, specifically the stunning olive keyhole and the beautiful maroon dresses.
This season Hailwood worked the coat like no other, producing an array of different styles, from chic long beige trench’s and black leather motorcycle styles, to denim jackets, stunning capes and a beautiful long flowing red design.
Denim also ruled the runway, proving the street style can be luxe, paired with a grey fur coat. But the highlight for me was the eveningwear: the long silver metallic column gown, and the yellow and green 3-D floral gown.
All in all, this proved to be another successful collection that will no doubt be a hit with the fashion crowd.
